An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled and motivated Pump Operator to join our mining department. This role will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of dewatering pumps and HDPE pipeline systems to ensure effective water management across the site. You'll conduct assessments, inspections, and basic maintenance to keep equipment running at peak performance, while ensuring compliance with all safety and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Perform regular inspections and operational assessments of dewatering pumps to ensure optimal performance.
- Carry out assembly, and installation of HDPE pipelines for dewatering and water transfer systems.
- Accurately and promptly record all service and operational data for pumping equipment.
- Undertake routine maintenance and minor repairs to maintain equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Adhere to all statutory legislation, company policies, and environmental regulations.
- Execute dewatering operations in active mining environments, ensuring effective water management.
- Consistently follow safe work practices and standard operating procedures.

What You'll Bring to the Role
To be part of our ongoing success, we're looking for individuals who bring both capability and passion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Dewatering expertise, proven experience and/or competency in mine site dewatering operations.
- Polywelding ticket and hands on experience, plus a Chainsaw Ticket (desirable).
- Heavy equipment know how, experience or qualifications to operate D10/D11 dozers, excavators, or front-end loaders and trucks (valued)
- Current licences, valid Driver's Licence and Standard 11.
- A positive can do attitude with a strong passion for safety improving mining efficiencies.
