The Opportunity

We have
multiple
exciting opportunities for detail-oriented and proactive
Workforce Planner's
to join our Workforce Planning team at
Crown Melbourne
. These will be on a
2-Year Max Term Contrac
t basis.

We are looking to fill roles in our Gaming, Hospitality and Support Services Teams.

As a Workforce Planner you'll be responsible for developing and managing employee rosters across multiple departments, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet operational needs. You'll work closely with department managers to forecast demand, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure compliance with labour regulations and enterprise agreements.

Day to day could include, but no be limited to;

  • Develop and maintain accurate and efficient rosters across departments.
  • Track employee skills, availability, and preferences to support effective cross-utilisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address staffing requirements and resolve scheduling issues.
  • Analyse workforce data and provide actionable insights to improve operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and the Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct.
  • Support continuous improvement in rostering practices through data-driven decision-making.

About You

You're a skilled planner with a strong eye for detail and a passion for optimising workforce operations. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.

You will also have;

  • Proven experience with managing rosters, ideally in hospitality, hotels or gaming.
  • Proficiency in Virtual Roster or similar workforce management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrates a team-first mindset with a collaborative and constructive approach to working with others.
  • Solid understanding of labour laws, enterprise agreements, and compliance requirements.
