
Paediatric Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with children to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You will play a crucial part in helping children develop the skills they need to communicate effectively and confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Provide therapy sessions that are engaging, evidence-based, and fun.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support the child's overall development.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate and support families in understanding and managing their child's communication needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field.
- Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Speech Pathology Australia).
- Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of paediatric speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient, with a genuine passion for helping children.

- Has own professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or willing to obtain).
