ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Implementation & Activation Group Director is a full-time position based in Sydney. This role supports OpenDoor's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence, and best-in-class service for Amazon across its diverse businesses worldwide. The role has regional responsibilities across XCM (Australia and Singapore), Prime Video (ANZ), and RMI. It involves leading omni-channel implementation planning and buying, ensuring quality and strategic alignment, and fostering a high-performance team environment.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Implementation & Activation team is responsible for delivering best-in-class planning and activation for Amazon across all media channels, focusing on connected, audience-first outputs. We navigate the dynamic media landscape with industry expertise, transparency, and accountability, leveraging strong media relationships to identify emerging opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership
Act as a senior consultant, managing media negotiations, implementation planning, and activation.
Engage with vendors and partners to drive client growth.
Provide strategic insights regarding the client's industry and competitors.
Maximize value from local and global partnerships.
Enhance the agency's reputation for outstanding client service.
Product
Promote innovative, audience-centric media solutions.
Ensure delivery of all client KPIs and contractual commitments.
Collaborate with internal product teams to articulate solutions' benefits.
Support the adoption of tools, technology, and automation solutions.
Contribute to operational excellence, including data governance and campaign management.
Demonstrate proficiency in media planning principles using industry tools.
People
Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
Motivate and empower team members to achieve goals.
Conduct regular performance and career development meetings.
Address team disputes with the People Team.
