
Associate Director Business Operations

Are you a confident, self-driven operator with a passion for enabling business excellence? We're looking for an energetic and highly communicative leader to join our Data Office as an Associate Director of Business Operations. This role is central to supporting business operations and plays a key part in driving strategic planning, financial oversight, risk management, and cultural engagement across the team.
You'll work closely with senior leaders to ensure smooth operations, support strategic initiatives, and foster a high-performing, engaged team culture. If you thrive in dynamic environments and love bringing structure, clarity, and energy to complex business functions, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and contribute to strategic planning papers.
Track and manage financial performance, budgets, and reporting across the Data Office.
Lead risk management and governance activities to ensure operational integrity.
Drive employee engagement through initiatives like Your Voice, communications, and recognition programs.
Coordinate and prepare for quarterly innovation days, ensuring smooth execution and high impact.
Partner with HR and leaders on workforce planning and team culture initiatives.
Collaborate across business units to align operations with broader strategic goals.
Provide clear, confident communication—both written and verbal—to influence and inform stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in business operations, strategic planning, and portfolio delivery within complex environments.
Strong understanding of financial management, including OPEX/CAPEX and business case development.
Demonstrated success in risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
High levels of energy, initiative, and self-drive—you're proactive and solutions-oriented.
Ability to lead change, drive innovation, and foster a collaborative team culture.
Experience managing employee engagement and communications programs.
Skilled in coordinating cross-functional projects and aligning operational activities with strategic outcomes.
