**How will I help?**
Sitting within the Risk Analytics and Insights Business Unit, this Analyst, Model Monitoring role will conduct credit risk model monitoring to measure model performance and highlight any potential issues and areas for improvement to model owners and developers.
This involves:
- Generating model monitoring results for credit risk models across the Group on a regular basis;
- Creating new monitoring processes for newly created and implemented models;
- Reviewing the model monitoring outcomes;
- Providing insightful analysis to model owners and developers for decision making;
- Participating in model monitoring review meetings with senior stakeholders; and
- Presenting monitoring results through data visualisation.
Other major accountabilities include:
- Manage ongoing performance of credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD, IFRS9);
- Enhance existing model monitoring framework with visualisation tools (e.g. SAS, Tableau)
- Recommend remedial actions required to address model performance;
- Track issue resolution status;
- Document monitoring processes and procedures.

**What do I need?**
You will have an understanding of credit risk frameworks and modelling processes within a banking environment. You will have a strong appreciation of statistical modelling data requirements, model monitoring requirements and an understanding of how models are effectively implemented into operational environments. You will possess strong SAS programming skills, SQL, Excel and Tableau skills as well as strong knowledge of IT principles and system development lifecycle and data management.
You will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). You will have the ability to collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders including offshore teams, modellers, data and systems teams and credit risk teams.
