**In this role you can expect to**:

- Design and implement scalable ETL processes using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with Property & Casualty Insurance domain needs.
- Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently processed for business intelligence and analytics purposes.
- Ensure seamless integration of data from multiple sources, maintaining data quality and consistency. This involves working with different data formats and structures.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability. This includes tuning data transformations and load processes to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Work closely with business analysts, data Architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
- Document ETL processes, data flows, and system architecture. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for future reference and troubleshooting.
- Provide support for ETL processes, including troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes. Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.
- Lead ETL projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Ensure that ETL processes comply with data governance and security policies. Implement measures to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate technical solutions and their impact on business outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data technologies and insurance industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data architecture and engineering within the organization.
- Support the hybrid work model by effectively managing tasks and communication in both remote and in-office settings.
- Proficiency in using Pentaho tools for designing, developing, and managing ETL processes.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Have a proven track record of designing and implementing data architectures that drive business value.
- Show proficiency in optimizing data processes and ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Display strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
