**About the role**:
The Governance & Performance Lead manages the governance and performance arrangements, information management and operating cycle of the ZJNS-Electricity contract. This includes but is not limited to, oversight and performance management review of the projects and activities that deliver the yearly program of work, ensuring the information needed to manage that performance is in place.

The principal accountability of this role is to assist the Operations Manager, the Planning Performance team as well as Operational and Program Managers to ensure the governance and performance of work is undertaken and delivered in line with business and client requirements, safely and effectively.

**Your role will also include**:

- Supporting the Planning Performance team functions with governance, tools, systems (Project Online, Upvise etc) and monitoring mechanisms.
- Liaising with the client Jemena, SGSPPA support functions and the management team to manage variations, issues and or risks related to the delivery of program for ZJNS-Electricity.
- Developing supply planning, governance and monitoring strategies with Operations and Program Managers to deliver the program of work.
- Providing direction and guidance on performance with the development of the tools and systems used operationally.
- Supporting senior decision-making in the prioritisation of projects and changes to the ZJNS-Electricity.
- Providing clear visibility of potential risk scenarios and management strategies.
- Supporting the portfolio team to develop a 2-year rolling resource plan to aid the delivery of the program of works.
- Driving real-time, what-to-do-next and what-if analyses and implementation of solutions.
- Developing and strengthening relationships with the Delivery Managers ensuring expectations are met.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role your resume should demonstrate:

- Tertiary qualified in Engineering, Project Management or Business Management (Desirable).
- Portfolio or Project Management certification preferred or demonstrated understanding of a project methodology as well as program management frameworks and program planning principles (Desirable).
- Relevant Portfolio/Program/Project Management experience with good experience in a utilities (or related) environment.
- Strong project management skills (e.g.: planning, organisation, prioritisation, timely decision making, delegation, managing and measuring work, etc.) needed to ensure that improvements are delivered on time and within budget.
- The ability to balance resources/time to meet competing needs and expectations and deliver with the high volume of daily issues while at the same time managing to achieve positive initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in customer service delivery, project management and financial control.
- Highly developed verbal, interpersonal, communication, facilitation and negotiation skills.
