**About Us**:
Victoria University (VU) Polytechnic is the TAFE division of Victoria University and delivers accredited courses, apprenticeships, traineeships and customised training programs that link closely with industry. Our electrical and engineering courses are delivered in a modern, purpose-built, specialty trades facility at the Sunshine campus **.**

**The role of a TAFE Teacher**:
As a TAFE Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your trade experience with the next generation of students. You will collaborate with other teachers in developing learning resources for our courses, as well as training and assessing students while maintaining accurate records.

**Salary and Conditions of Employment**:

- For the sessional teaching roles, the hourly rate payable is $83.56 plus 11% superannuation.
- Conditions of employment will be covered by the Victoria University's Vocational Teacher Enterprise Agreement 2019

**About You**:

- You will need to hold relevant and/or current trade qualifications and a minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
- TAFE Teaching qualification of TAE40116 or TAE40110 with required upgrades
- Are passionate about sharing your knowledge with the next generation of engineers, fabricators and welders.
- Willingness to continually learn and develop as a TAFE Teacher.
- Hold a current Working with Children Check (E).
