**About the Role**:
An example of duties you will perform include:

- Teaching classes in the Cert 3 and Diploma of Early Childhood
- Preparing class content materials including case studies, problem-based learning scenarios and delivering classes online and on campus at various locationsCompetency-based assessment and student evaluation including industry placement support

**Salary and Conditions of Employment:
- For the sessional teaching roles, the hourly rate payable is $86.90 per hour inclusive of 25% sessional loading plus superannuation.Conditions of employment will be covered by Victoria University's Vocational Teacher Enterprise Agreement 2019

**About You**:
Our teaching team is looking for someone who is a dedicated educator and is eager to bring their industry experience to the classroom.

You will have:

- TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 with upgrade units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or can provide proof on enrolment in TAE40122 or upgrade
- Qualification within Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
- Significant work experience within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector to be able to bring your knowledge and experience to the classroom
- Excellent communication skills and a “can do” attitude
- Relevant skills in Microsoft office, databases and record keepingCurrent police check valid within 6 months or willingness to obtain one
