**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Operations Manager to lead our clients shredding business operations in the VIC market. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is driven to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment. The Operations Manager will represent the company's interests in revenue generation, customer service, and field operations. The role involves strategic administration, monitoring, and optimization of operational performance to ensure the achievement of approved annual objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership and Vision**: Provide inspirational leadership to the operational team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high engagement. Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the site's vision.
- **Operational Productivity**: Take accountability for overall operational productivity, ensuring activities are cost-effective, and resources are efficiently managed. Manage budgetary responsibilities in alignment with profit and loss (P&L) expectations.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Promote safety behaviors within the plant and during road activities. Partner with the National EHS specialist to maintain and adhere to health and safety standards, as well as training requirements according to Stericycle policies and statutory regulations.
- **Route Optimization**: Oversee, identify, build, plan, and review routes with the Dispatch team for driver personnel. Ensure efficient route density provisions, optimal customer service collections, and attainment of KPI targets.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Maintain effective communication and collaboration with key customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- **Revenue Generation**: Actively contribute to revenue generation efforts and ensure timely completion of operational stops.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the waste management or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring teams and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to take ownership of issues and resolve them effectively.
- Financial acumen and budget management skills to meet P&L expectations.
- In-depth understanding of health and safety standards and regulations.
- Effective communication skills for building relationships with peers, key stakeholders, and customers.
- Ability to work hands-on, lead by example, and tackle challenges proactively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
