Our Melbourne studio is looking for passionate Animators available for an immediate start who can bring our characters and objects to life with motions, gestures, and expressions. Come join the Framestore Animation team and be a part of the magic of creating high-end VFX film and episodic productions
As an Animator at Framestore, you will work closely with our Animation Leads and Supervisors to produce high-quality keyframe animation that creates compelling moments that fit within the style and pacing of the film. You'll also collaborate with our Rigging and Pipeline departments to provide suggestions and feedback to improve character setup, visual quality, rigs, and tool functionality.
We're looking for someone who can animate both primary and secondary characters and elements, meet schedules and deadlines, and work efficiently as part of a team or independently to complete assigned shots. You'll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the proven ability to work under pressure.
- AU-based, or willing to relocate with the support of Framestore.
- Hybrid working environment, ideally 2 days per week at the Melbourne studio.
Please note: We expect intermediate-level reels to demonstrate at least 1-2 years of experience in a production environment and/or personal work including material from courses such as Animation Mentor or iAnimate.Can’t wait to hear back from us?
