Medical Receptionist

**About the role**

We are seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team at NSW Cardiology in Darlinghurst, NSW. This is a full-time position working 3 or 4 days per week. You will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service to our patients and ensuring the smooth running of our medical practice.

**What you'll be doing**
- Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Handling patient enquiries and booking procedures
- Assisting with patient registration and managing medical records
- Processing billing and payments
- Processing Medicare billing, DVA and private payments
- Providing general administrative support to the practice

**What we're looking for**
- Most importantly - A friendly, professional and empathetic attitude
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in using medical practice management software - Genie experience preferred
- Flexibility to work 3 or 4 days per week (Wednesday and/or Thursday and Weekends off)
- Must have Australian work rights - Please note: this position is _not suitable for students_
