**About the role**

As an Forklift Operator/Yardie, you will be responsible for:

- Operating a counterbalance forklift
- General yard maintenance
- Working with scrap metal - picking, stripping, measuring

**To be successful, you will possess the following**:

- Demonstrated/ Proven experience with operating counterbalance forklifts
- Physically fit, able to lift to 20 kgs
- Hold a valid NSW Forklift license with proven experience
- High attention to detail
- PPE required - Hivs, long pants and steel caps.

**Salary**: From $34.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Canberra, ACT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
