People and Business Services is a Group within the Department of Transport and Planning, and is responsible for providing buisness enabling functions which drive a high performance culture to support integrated operations.

**About the Role**

The primary purpose of this role is to extract, view, analyse and store evidence and other information for use in criminal or civil proceedings in the Victorian Court of law or in tribunals. The role is responsible for viewing and downloading digitised images stored on digital video recording device hard drives which are on the public transport systems Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System.

The incumbent will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders across the Victorian Government.

**Position Outcomes**
- Ensure that evidentiary footage has been captured as an asset and is current, accurate and preserved according to PROV standards and department policies.
- Independently performs technical work in a narrow field of expertise
- Can provide high quality, responsive services to stakeholders across the Department, dealing with problems or issues promptly and effectively. Evidentiary footage meets franchise and ministerial requirements and services provided have met privacy and information security standards.
- Has built and maintained effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and has provided sound advice and support resulting in high levels of trust and stakeholder satisfaction.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience working with sensitive and/or confronting visual and written material.
- Experience with the use of digital CCTV equipment, video equipment and relevant software is desirable.
- This position has a requirement to work shift work or out of hours work will be required that will involve evening or weekend work.
