The Office of Alumni & Philanthropy leads the University's fundraising efforts with a wide array of initiatives, including major gifts, bequests, endowments, annual giving, capital campaigns, corporate and foundation grants. The Role
As a Gift Processing Officer, you'll be at the heart of our philanthropic efforts, ensuring that every donation is processed swiftly and accurately. You’ll connect directly with our generous donors, guiding them through their giving journey and playing a vital role in bringing their contributions to life. Your work will extend across the University, supporting the impactful disbursement of funds that fuel innovation and change. Collaborate with our passionate philanthropic team to prepare insightful acquittal reports, and partner with our finance team to ensure seamless monthly reconciliation of gifts. What you’ll bring to this role
- A graduate qualification with at least three years of experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education (higher education experience preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and well-developed administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using CRM systems for gift processing and donor management, with the ability and willingness to learn new software as needed.
