**Overview**
As an App Release Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the software front end release process, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments across our platforms. You will work closely with the Technology and Product teams to develop and execute release plans, manage app store submissions and work with third party testing providers and reporting suites to ensure every release provides customers with a 6-star experience.

You will need to drive and maintain a high attention to detail around all aspects of the app release process. Your ability to manage timelines, coordinate teams and proactively address release-related risks will be key to success in this role.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the software release process to ensure consistent and successful releases of FE apps
- Develop, communicate, and execute release plans in collaboration with stakeholders
- Oversee the app store submission process, ensuring compliance with platform requirements
- Co-ordinate our third-party automated testing partner Mobot to optimise automated testing and ensure testing fidelity
- Consult with Product and Technology teams and develop low risk release plans
- Develop, communicate, and manage the release lifecycle, including pre-release preparation and post-release analysis to the broader business
- Handle app store submissions, ensuring accurate and timely updates
- Submit test cases to our third-party automated testing partner
- Triage and analyse test results and release fidelity flags, working with teams to address any issues
- Perform manual quality assurance of releases to verify quality and functionality
- Track and report on release KPIs to measure success and identify improvement areas
- Ensure compliance with app store/play store regulatory requirements related to software releases

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software release management, software delivery, or a related role
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a troubleshooting mindset
- Strong understanding of the app store submission process (Apple App Store, Google Play Store)
- Experience working with automated testing tools
- Understanding of software delivery methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple releases in a fast-paced scale up environment
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for tracking releases and reporting
- Experience with release tooling such as Github, Datadog, Grafana is preferred but not required
