We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer (A02 Equivalent) for a temporary (5 months with possibility of extension) full time position commencing asap within a State Government sector located in Ipswich.

**_ Duties for this role will include:_**
- Provide courteous, efficient and timely customer services to external and internal clients
- Basic mail duties (checking daily, taking any outbound mail to distribution point)
- Reception duties at Information Desk when required, includes assisting with directions, appointments, photocopying supporting documentation, timetabling and general enquiries
- Operating office equipment including telephone, photocopier, multi-functional device to enable completion of duties
- Filing
- Basic Banking duties (completion of deposit slip, banking express bag etc.)
- Learn and use the internal IT program B2C CRM for course enquiries

**_ To Succeed in this Role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to : _**
- Determine client needs, perform duties of an administrative nature and take appropriate action that supports a quality customer service.
- Prioritise and plan workflow to achieve outcomes within identified timeframes utilising self-management and customer service skills.
- Function effectively within a busy team environment and respond positively under direction to changes in client needs or expectations.
- Prepare and process accurate basic written correspondence, notes and records through the use of software packages and multi-functional office equipment.
- Follow written and oral instructions, communicate messages to clients clearly and concisely and work within guidelines and procedures.
