Our client is a leader in providing forklifts and elevated work platform equipment to their clients across Australia, recently they have one major contracts which has directly effected in house and client based work flow. Due to this exciting growth, they are now seeking experienced mechanics for the position of Field Service Technician.

We are seeking qualified and experienced mechanics to complete maintenance on Forklifts and EWP equipment at clients sites, as you will be required to maintain equipment with hydraulic systems you will have previous experience completing maintenance on equipment as well as knowledge on hydraulics and pneumatics.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Carrying out various tasks which include mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnosis, repair and maintenance on material handing equipment and elevated work platforms
- Carrying out inspection, maintenance and stability testing of older machines and forklifts
- Working independently at customer locations across Perth's metro areas
- Working not only within the companies OHS & E requirements but also within the companies specified time frames
- Carrying out fabrication work including welding, drilling, grinding, bending and cutting of threads if and when required

**What we’re looking for**
- Mechanic Trade certificate - Australian Recognised (Vetasses)
- Minimum of 1 year experience completed maintenance work on equipment
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Hold a strong work ethic
- Must have working rights in Australia and currently residing in Australia.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week
