**About the Role**:
**What you’ll achieve**:
- Coordinate credentialing processes and data management for JMS, including verification of medical qualification(s), Australian Health Practitioner's Regulation Agency (Ahpra) professional registration requirements, as police/’fit-to-work' checks, and Working with Children Checks.
- Update/update electronic personnel profiles for JMS specific to credentialling information.
- Monitor JMS compliance with ongoing credentialing and/or legislative requirements and take appropriate action to address issues as they arise.
- Oversee the management the senior medical staff credentialing records and credentialing database (CGOV).
Classification for this position will range from AO41 - AO45 classification codes (base salary $81,463 to $90,392 per annum, plus superannuation).
**Your Skills and Experience**:
- Recognised undergraduate/graduate-entry or postgraduate qualification in a related filed AND/OR 2-3 years recognised equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated understanding and experience of clinical goverance requirements specific to heath workforce and healthcare practice environments
- Demonstrated experience in managing a defined administrative portfolio/s, project/s and/or service program/s specific to hospital/healthcare settings
- Well-developed self-management / personal organisation skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

**About the Department**:
The Medical Workforce Unit oversees the centralised recruitment, onboarding and coordination of junior medical staff (JMS)/paediatric trainees, working both on-site at RCH and rotating through various external Victorian secondment sites.
