**About the Role**

Providing support to people with disability living in **Chifley**and **Mascot**you will have a range of experience across disability support including working with behaviour support plans, personal care, manual handling and confidence in driving a wheelchair van.

**Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL)** team on a **casual** basis, you will support people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster and may be required to work across different homes in Chifley, Mascot and surrounding suburbs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
- Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
- Maintain thorough record keeping
- Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
- Advocate for client choice and control

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience working with people with disability
- Previous experience working with behaviour support plans
- Confidence in driving a wheelchair van
- Manual Handling and Personal care experience
- An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
