Fresh+ currently operate a large number of hospital cafés across NSW, QLD, and SA, providing food, beverages, and convenience retail to hospital staff and the general public. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional customer service and who are committed to helping our business grow and succeed.

**About the Role**

As a Kitchen Hand, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable multitasking to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks:

- Pre-service kitchen preparation
- Preparation of all ingredients
- Cooking menu items (basic café-style food).
- Providing suggestions for menu improvement and changes.
- Safe food handling
- Responsible for ensuring the kitchen is always a clean, safe, and efficient workspace, in line with Fresh+ hygiene standards
- Assume some responsibility of kitchen duties, ordering and compliance.
- Consistently prepare high volume of food within the Café

**About You**
- Must have flexibility to work early mornings
- At least 1 year of experience in the food industry, with knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation
- Experience working back of house in a hospitality environment
- Passion for serving customers in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Knowledge of busy food outlet operations with a focus on sales and service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
