Fresh+ currently operate a large number of hospital cafés across NSW, QLD, and SA, providing food, beverages, and convenience retail to hospital staff and the general public.

**About the Position**:
As a kitchen hand, you'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable multitasking to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.

You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks:

- Pre-service kitchen preparation
- Preparation of all ingredients
- Cooking menu items (basic café-style food).
- Providing suggestions for menu improvement and changes.
- Safe food handling
- Responsible for ensuring the kitchen is always a clean, safe, and efficient workspace, in line with Fresh+ hygiene standards
- Assume some responsibility of kitchen duties, ordering and compliance.
- Consistently prepare high volume of food within the Café
- Must have flexibility to work early mornings (3:45 AM starts)
- Must be able to work independently for 1 hour in the mornings.
- Experience working back of house in a hospitality environment
- Passion for serving customers in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Knowledge of busy food outlet operations with a focus on sales and service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work great in a team environment
