Our programs operate in partnership with schools and communities across the state, delivering high-quality coaching that builds students’ confidence and communication skills.

**Role Summary**

The Schools Program Manager is responsible for the smooth operation and growth of our school-based debating programs. This role combines program coordination, team leadership, client relationship management, and logístical oversight. Working closely with coaches, school partners, and the General Manager, you’ll ensure the successful delivery of term classes, competitions, and events, while contributing to the strategic expansion of our school partnerships.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Program Oversight**:
Lead all aspects of the Schools program, including scheduling, logistics, and delivery of term classes and competitions.
- **Coach Management**:
Oversee and support school-based coaches, including rostering, class observations, and feedback. Collaborate with the General Manager on recruitment and onboarding. Delegate tasks to Head Coaches where appropriate.
- **School & Parent Communication**:
Serve as the primary contact for school partners and parents involved in the Schools program.
- **Sales & Renewals**:
Manage school renewals and lead outreach to prospective partners through calls, meetings, and relationship development.
- **Event & Competition Logistics**:
Coordinate logistics for trials, showcases, and competitions, including facility bookings and liaising with school staff.
- **Operational Coordination**:
Work with support staff to manage rolls, feedback collection, scheduling, digital infrastructure, and rostering.
- **Feedback & Quality Assurance**:
Act on parent and school feedback to drive continuous program improvement.
- **Marketing Collaboration**:
Work with the Head of Marketing to plan and implement promotional initiatives for the Schools program.
- **Coaching (Optional)**:
Depending on your background and final wage arrangement, deliver debating and public speaking classes.

**Essential Requirements**
- Experience in operations, program coordination, or administration
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills
- Ability to lead, delegate, and collaborate with teams
- Confidence using digital platforms (e.g., scheduling tools, Discord, CRMs)
- Ability to prioritise and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

**Preferred Requirements**
- Experience working in or with schools
- Background in debating or public speaking
- Experience coaching in debating or public speaking
- Familiarity with the NSW school system
- Experience managing remote or hybrid teams

**Working Conditions**
- **Employment Type**: Full-time
- **Work Model**: Hybrid (primarily remote, with some in-person events and meetings)
- **Salary**: $60,000 - $100,000, based on experience. The final package may include coaching hours, commissions, or other perks.

**Start Date**: June

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
