THE ROLE -* Based in Cheltenham, Melbourne
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for accurate, timely and efficient processing of supplier invoices, arranging payments to suppliers as per contractual terms and managing accounts payable related queries with internal and external stakeholders.
- Accurate & timely processing of invoices to meet contractual payment terms and agreed turnaround times
- Reconcile key supplier statements
- Understand the needs of both internal & external stakeholders to ensure they receive a 10/10 experience
- Handle all stakeholder queries within 48 hours
- Share knowledge & provide assistance to fellow team members
- Actively participate in reviewing the existing procedures and assessing possible improvements to increase efficiency
- Undergo relevant training and keep up to date across all tour and non-tour related products to broaden knowledge of business operations

- **Key Relationships - External - **Suppliers

ABOUT YOU*
- Experience in Accounts Payable functions with good understanding of accounting procedures
- Experience with at least one ‘Tier One’ accounting software system
- High level of attention to detail with proven level of quality and accuracy of work
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Proactive research, analysis and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, demonstrating an ability to efficiently interact with internal and external stakeholders in professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Intermediate level of Word and Excel
