Little Wonders Early Learning Centre is a family-owned small business long day care centre, located in Albion Park Rail. Our service is a 26 place centre operating Monday-Friday 7am - 6pm. Our service is rated EXCEEDING against the National Quality Standards and annual Local Business & National Business Award Finalists.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**

We are currently seeking a Certificate 3 Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This position is a 6-month maternity leave contract, with possibility of extending employment beyond contract.

This position is full time Monday-Friday working between 7am-6pm. This position would ideally suit someone that is flexible with working hours between operating times as shifts may vary from open shift (7am - 3:30pm), middle shift (8:30 - 4:30pm) and closing shift (9:30am-6:00pm)

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Implementing the Centre Philosophy and upholding high quality education and care.
- Learning and implementing the policies, procedures and routines of the service.
- Learning and implementing Child Safe Standards.
- Maintaining the rights of the child.
- Implementing Munch & Move guidelines.
- Learning how to establish & maintain professional respectful relationships with staff, children, families & community members.
- Learning & implementing the skills required to work in our centre environment with children.
- Participating in centre events and implementing our centre program both planned and spontaneous experiences.
- Observing & documenting children's learning in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and associated professional sector guiding documents
- Food preparation in line with centre policies.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and inviting centre environment both inside and outside
- Engaging with children in gardening, including teaching and learning alongside groups of children about topics of sustainability and environment responsibility
- Leading age group of children, implementing daily learning experiences and activities

**Essential Criteria**
- Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care as approved by ACECQA.
- Working with Children's Check & NSW Police Check
- Current approved First Aid Qualification, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training
- Completed Child Protection Training
- Experience working within Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Applicants with a genuine interest of early years education and care.
- Commitment to own professional learning.
- We're looking for someone with an enthusiastic personality who is able to engage confidently in interactions with the children, our team and families.
- Patience is a must when working with children along with respectful communication and a positive attitude.

Full time hours: 38 hours per week.
