**Assistant Brand Manager**:
**About the Company**:
Our client is a respected leader in the category and is both agile and evolving. On the back of strong growth in recent years, this critical hire will lead the next phase of brand marketing success across retail, wholesale and food service. They value hands on approach, curiosity and a passion for food.

**About the role**:
Our client is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager who has strong analytical and creative skills and with understanding of consumer psychology. Someone who has extensive background and social media platforms, online marketing tools and marketing campaign development and implementation processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement the primary processing marketing strategy and plan (including digital brand strategy), closely collaborating and guiding the external agencies, monitoring and optimising performance.
- Ensure a robust understanding of the key drivers for the brand / category through financial knowledge of the SKU’s under their portfolio and their contribution to the business.
- Ensure the company complies with legal requirements in respect to the sales promotion and advertising of its products.
- Be the brand champion - POS, instore and digital, promotions, retail and local area marketing, packaging and PR.
- Gain active support of internal and external stakeholders to ensure all projects are executed on time and objectives achieved.
- Build strong working relationships with key team members, enabling flawless execution of initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role and show aptitude and ability to progress to next level marketing.
- Experience using data analytics software like Quantium and IRI
- Must know how to use traditional and digital marketing.
- Delivery - balancing act between strong attention to detail and getting things done on time
- Create digital content to build brand awareness and engagement across relevant platforms and social media channels.
- Ability to work operationally and adaptable to fast paced, changing and ambiguous environments whilst maintaining accountability.
- Passion for food and ability to understand the key consumers - foodies
