Apac Security Compliance Officer

Global Technology Services (GTS) is a division of Arthur J. Gallagher, working across the globe promoting and enforcing the best IT practices. This role is within the Global Cyber and Information Security (GCIS) department of GTS, a department focussed on improving the cyber security posture of all Gallagher divisions and regions across the globe. The small APAC GCIS team is agile with wide experience across three APAC divisions, well supported by other GTS colleagues in Australia and overseas.

***Your Role**:

- Client due diligence audit questionnaires regarding our IT, infrastructure and data security,
- Contract reviews of privacy and confidentiality and cyber security clauses
- Supplier reviews of all new third parties providing services to Gallagher, and annually reviewing their security profiles
- Timely tender responses to new opportunities describing accurately Gallagher security posture without exposing more information than required.

**Within APAC you will be**
- Working alongside account managers, legal, risk and compliance personnel, senior business managers, and sometimes as part of a tender response team,

**In time and growing experience, this role can be expanded into assisting wider teams in**:

- Internal security audits conducted across the APAC divisions of Gallagher
- Statistical Analysis of vulnerability scanning and penetration test results
- External security audits (ISO27001, IRAP, APRA, etc)
- Global Compliance matters representing APAC regulatory concerns

**We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who has**:

- IT Degree and higher tertiary qualifications
- Experience working within an IT related role in a medium/large sized firm - consideration given to both ends of the career spectrum seeking a long term, rewarding pathway
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience in relationship building
- Flexibility and receptivity to change
- Business to Business Commercial awareness
