**Position Summary**

The FP&A Analyst - APAC assists with financial reporting, planning, and analysis across all areas of the company. They work closely with Finance leadership to develop and improve financial modeling and provide accurate, meaningful data across the company. The position requires extensive analytical skills and the desire to dive deep into complex data and issues. The FP&A Analyst - APAC is an integral part of the Finance organisation.

This position will be based in Brisbane, QLD.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for monthly and quarterly financial reporting including the budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual analysis processes, assisting with variance analysis with department leaders.
- including ownership of APAC Monthly Financial reporting package.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly / annual budget by working with the business groups as well as Finance teams - both within APAC and Corporate.
- Drive cadences of forecasting, reporting, reviewing and collaboration with the relevant internal stakeholders.
- Analyze and monitor the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify and communicate the cause of any unexpected variances.
- Develop data-driven insights to support the management with data-driven analysis
- Responsible for vendor incentive reporting to Finance leadership and key internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for ensuring Pax8's financial data reconcile to the Pax8 Platform as well as external vendor systems.

**Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies**:

- Strong progressive experience in finance / accounting business analysis (3-5 years ideally)
- Advanced Excel skills required
- International finance experience in the technology sector preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with high volume transaction processing with strong attention to detail
- Ability to be highly organised, productive, self-motivated and independent.
- Ability to proactively solve problems using critical thinking skills
