**The Project**

The Utilities business are the preferred contractor on two of the largest energy infrastructure projects within the Australian energy sector, one of these projects is located in Queensland and the other in New South Wales. These two exciting opportunities secure a pipeline of work until 2027 and include the design & construction of new transmission lines and substations.

**What will a day in this role look like**:

- Develop and implement logistics strategy to support delivery of all site works
- Identify and establish subcontract and service agreements for the provision of all logístical support services
- Establish logistics support team and delivery infrastructure, including accommodation camps, laydown yards and utility connections
- Work closely with the Construction Director and delivery Project Managers to accurate forecast time phased resource requirements, establishing facilities and support services, and conducting material and transportation planning to meet those requirements.

**What are we looking for you to bring to the team**:

- Experience in major infrastructure construction project logistics and planning
- Effective leadership and ability to make decision and generate positive outcomes independently. Strong project and budgetary management skills
- Ability to accurately forecast highly complicated linear resource requirements through efficient collaboration with delivery teams
- Strength in the development, execution and management of detailed subcontract and service support contracts
