**Position Summary**:
Working under the supervision of more experienced staff members, you will be involved in the preparation of various types of tax returns (i.e. Company, individual, trust and partnership returns). You will also be responsible for preparing and providing tax advice to clients as well as being involved in research and client meetings. You will get the opportunity to work in a National Practice and work on a diverse range of clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

Working with an established team who will provide you with the ability to grow your career. Some of your key outcomes will be:

- Prepare and present accurate and timely complex tax returns, workpapers and client correspondence.
- Undertake tax planning for clients and identify and resolve tax issues.
- Engage in research and draft tax advice with guidance and supervision.
- Provide feedback and guidance to Graduates, Co-operative students and more junior members of staff.

**Skills and experience**

We are looking for someone to join our team that will bring the following skills, experience and attributes:

- Minimum 12 months experience in a Tax environment within a Chartered/CPA accounting practice
- Tertiary qualified in Commerce or Law, and have commenced or intend to commence their professional studies
- Technically proficient and demonstrate a keen interest and desire to develop your knowledge and keep updated with the latest tax law and accounting developments.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to mentor and coach junior team members
