This opportunity is in the Tax Consulting division. This is genuinely a tax consulting role and NOT a business services / tax role. The role will be focussing on corporate and international tax.

A sample of what the role will include:

- Tax effect accounting.
- Tax Consolidations & ACA calculations.
- Researching new legislation and finding solutions to complex matters.
- Cross border tax issues, (such as residency, permanent establishment, transfer pricing, double tax agreements, CFCs and thin capitalisation).
- International expansion including outbound investment from and inbound investment into Australia.
- Employee Share Schemes.
- Reporting and Analysis - Ensure monthly and annual tax compliance obligations and other reporting requirements are met.
- Financial Reporting - Manage month-end financial processes.
- This is a client facing role.

To be successful in the role you will need:

- Approximately 5 or more years of tax consulting experience and a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
- CA or CPA qualification
- Strong Xero knowledge an advantage
- Exceptional communication
- A passion for technical tax
- An enquiring mind and an enjoyment in research
- A desire to be a valued part of a team.
- Someone who enjoys interacting with clients and colleagues
