**What you’ll do**:

- Promote excellence in the SolDelLC through collaborative definition and adoption of best practice guidance, guardrails, standards, patterns and anti-patterns, blueprints, and reference architectures.
- Continuously refine the SolDelLC in line with industry trends and the firm’s needs.
- Monitor the state-of-the practice in enterprise scaled DevOps, evaluating the potential of new practices and standards for adding value to the firm, and making recommendations.
- Facilitate collaboration across the SolDelLC for the agile practices, platforms and COEs.
- Monitor the state-of-the practice in enterprise scaled DevOps, evaluating the potential of new technologies, patterns, reference architectures and standards for adding value to the firm, and evolve the SolDelLC BoK.
- Continuously refine the SolDelLC BoK to incorporate appropriate state-of-the-practice developments.
- Establish and maintain a network of IT stakeholders with an interest in the SolDelLC and best practices.
- Support Technology teams in the adoption of proven standards and best practices by conducting and facilitating briefings, knowledge sharing, and reuse of knowledge and solution artefacts.
- Serve as a clearing-house and owner for opportunities to keep driving professionalism and delivery excellence across the SolDelLC and evangelise their definition and adoption.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the IT community on the SolDelLC and SolDelLC BoK.
- Evangelise and support collaboration amongst Technology teams in adopting the SolDelLC and the related practices and knowledge.
- Deliver presentations to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent Suncorp in industry working groups.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent experience is expected.
- Relevant industry certifications will be preferred.
- Minimum ten years IT experience is expected in a modern software solution delivery environment.
- Minimum three years IT end-to-end SolDelLC experience is expected.
- Expert understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle - both traditional waterfall, and modern iterative lifecycles such as the Open Unified Process and Microsoft Solutions Framework is expected.
- Deep and wide experience of modern practices for software solution architecture, design and engineering is expected.
- Experience of working in a scaled agile delivery model that incorporated enterprise concerns such as quality, security and compliance to regulatory commitments is expected.
- Familiarity with TOGAF for enterprise architecture, ArchiMate for solution architecture and UML for software design is expected.
- Experience with Scaled Agile, Lean and DevOps is expected.
- Insurance or Financial services experience is preferred.
- Consulting background is advantageous.
- Passion for enabling technology colleagues to work effectively and efficiently whiles complying with lifecycle responsibilities is expected.
- Experience of supporting the definition and adoption of the technology delivery lifecycle in an enterprise is advantageous.
