Role: Practice Nurse And Patient Care Coordinator - General Practice

Location: Tamborine, Queensland

Type: PPT (4-5 days per week)

Hours: 07:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 Saturdays

Tamborine Village Medical is an established, family-oriented General Practice located in the Scenic Rim.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our clinic on a part-time

basis. This role is ideal for a professional with a proactive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a

genuine passion for healthcare.

As a Practice Nurse at Tamborine Village Medical, you will be responsible for a range of clinical duties,

including but not limited to: administering vaccines, wound care, triage, assisting with minor procedures, stock

control, health assessments, care planning, managing patients with chronic health conditions, managing cold

chain processes, data quality & administration duties.
- Willingness to learn, work as a team & lead by example.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Ability to follow procedures but be confident in decision making skills & working autonomously.
- Demonstrate initiative & drive to achieve favourable outcomes for the clinic, supporting doctors &
patients
- Able to demonstrate adaptability to different personalities & capabilities.
- Flexible to assist with leave coverage & roster changes.
- General practice experience is desirable, specifically with chronic disease management & basic

procedures.
- Managing cold chain processes

Furthermore, you must be professional, efficient, hardworking & can create a good rapport with the patients &
team. This practice is seeking someone with a positive attitude, passion, committed to the role & willing to

work collaboratively.

Skills & Experience:

- Current AHPRA registration: Registered Nurse
- Knowledge of chronic condition management is essential
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Understanding of patient and staff confidentiality
- Integrity and reliability
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new software promptly
- Minimum 1 year General Practice Nursing

Remuneration: Registered Nurse Level 2 and Above, based on experience
