**Procurement Manager - NSW Government Department**

Contract: ASAP - 31/07/23 (potential to extend)

Pay Rate : $900 - $1000 per day + Super

Location : You are required to commute to each office one day a week as well as WFH; 105 Phillip Street, Paramatta and 8 Central Avenue, Everleigh

**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
The department is modernising, streamlining and transforming its people management systems and process to meet the demands of a growing system.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Lead the planning and development of multiple major, high-value tenders including solution implementation, data migration, business transformation and change, under the guidance of the Commercial Director
- Develop clear and achievable end-to-end procurement plans incorporating tender strategies, documentation preparation, tender release, briefings, clarifications, evaluation, presentations and negotiation, to be integrated into the overall program integrated schedule, aligned to key program milestones and stage gates
- Collaborate closely with the department’s central Procurement team (who will review the tender documentation and manage the external engagement with suppliers) to ensure alignment and adherence to procurement principles, policies and plans
- Actively support the Commercial Director in the preparation of all procurement documentation as input to external assurance gateway reviews including the preparation of summary presentations and consolidation of drafted tenders

**About You**:

- 5+ years experience in procurement management in multiple large, complex transformation programs.
- Hands-on experience in developing approaches and tender documentation (RFI, RFP, RFQ) for complex technology implementation projects
- Proven ability to provide support and constructive procurement advice across a large, complex transformation program
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
- Consulting experience is advantageous
