Real Community Services was established in January 2006 and now provides thousands of personal support hours per week to hundreds of people with disability, acquired brain injury or neurological conditions by focusing on empowering and improving their lifestyles.

At Real Community Services (RCS) we provide experienced, quality services to people living with a disability within an in-home or community setting. With a brilliant team across Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, we are there to help our Participants to achieve their goals to live a fulfilling life. Real Community Services continues to deliver supports by embracing the values of diligence, respect, and innovation.

**About the Role**

Shifts available:
Weekend - 9:00am - 11:00am
Tuesday & Thursday - 9am - 2pm
Mon - Sun (sleepover) 4pm - 9am

**Key Responsibilities**
- Personal care: dressing, toileting, and showering
- Domestic duties including meal preparation, shopping, housekeeping, and cleaning
- Assist Participants with medication
- High intensity support activities
- Insulin administration
- Bowel and continence support
- Behaviour support for Participant with ASD, Epilepsy, and Schizophrenia
- Provide community inclusion and support Participants to develop relationships and interests through access to community activities and services.

**Skills & Experience**
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Experience with non-verbal, ASD and schizophrenia
- Experience in managing continence aid
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a QLD driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Blue card (P) (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS Worker Clearance/ Yellow (P) (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
