**Sales Regional Manager - Pig & Poultry**

Stockyard Industries Pty Ltd is a leading supplier of agricultural equipment to the Pig and Poultry industries throughout Australia. This full-time role will involve securing new sales and projects and servicing our existing client base in Queensland and northern New South Wales. It will also encompass large-scale construction project management. Our business offers a wide range of products and services, including feeding systems, ventilation management, farm and shed design, and technical service and advice.

We are looking for a motivated Sales Professional to hit the ground running and to bring their wealth of product knowledge and detailed farm experience to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing your assigned sales territory, as well as developing new accounts and opportunities. You will also work with our Technical Managers and construction and product installation crews to successfully win and project manage new farm shed builds and existing shed refurbishments.

Main Responsibilities and Skills:

- A demonstrated track record of building relationships and working with diverse stakeholders within these agriculture markets;
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
- Senior project management experience and demonstrated a history of successfully project managing complex construction projects;
- Mandatory to have technical product knowledge of Pig and Poultry farm equipment and experience with designing farms;
- A strong willingness to learn and a hunger to succeed;
- A willingness to travel within the territory and attend trade shows and events.

**Main Tasks**:

- Develop structured sales visits to regular customers to build relationships, promote new equipment and recommend products in order to improve production;
- Proactively source new customers through networking and trade shows;
- Demonstrate the use of equipment and products to customers;
- Follow up on technical issues with equipment and products;
- Establish information from customers for the quoting process on equipment and buildings;
- Prepare quotes and sales contracts and communicate to customer delivery schedules, terms of trade, warranty and all other information related to the products;
- Follow up on outstanding debt with customers;
- Offer feedback and contribute to marketing strategies;
- Attend industry trade shows in Australia and internationally;
- Liaise with suppliers to facilitate sales;
- Build and maintain relationships with customers in your territory;
- Work with construction and installation staff as required to implement projects;
- Project Manage complicated construction builds.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience and can demonstrate a track record of success;
- Knowledge of the Australian Pig and Poultry industries is mandatory, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

**Qualifications**:

- A valid driver’s license;
- Relevant tertiary/technical qualifications.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
