Key General Manager position within large Agribusiness

**The Company**

This organisation is a leading Australian agribusiness with a national presence, who are highly regarded in their industry. As a result of a recent structural change, a newly created Regional General Manager QLD has been created. This role will have a strong focus on the operational performance of the sites in addition to managing relationships with key customers.

**The Role**
- Lead the QLD Region (which includes sites based southern Queensland), providing leadership, mentoring and coaching to all staff reporting into the position.
- Work closely with the Site Managers to evaluate site performance and identify action plans to improve performance.
- Profit and loss management, achieving key financial targets.
- Drive KPI reporting within the region to support continuous improvement in the manufacturing operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with major customers, fostering strong customer engagement, growing sales volumes through new and existing clients.
- Lead sales and marketing activities to drive growth in line with business objectives and plans.
- Ensuring all quality, safety and environment controls and programs are conducted in a manner in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies.

**Background and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- Significant leadership experience within Supply Chain/Operations in the agribusiness or related industry
- Commercially astute, they must be able to understand financial reports, manage a budget and make commercial decisions.
- Strong leadership, coaching, consultation and negotiation skills with an ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders including senior executive level employees as well as line management and operators.
