We're seeking a skilled **APS 6 Internal Communications Officer** to join a small, collaborative team and drive internal communication initiatives during a pivotal time for the organisation.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Business Engagement and Assurance Manager, you will:

- Develop and implement an internal communications strategy.
- Lead and enhance the organisation's intranet, creating engaging and informative content.
- Oversee staff communications, including updates on major projects such as a building relocation and organisational restructure.
- Collaborate with teams to uncover and share key information internally.
- Support the CEO-driven internal newsletter, _ACIAR Matters_.

**About You**

To be successful, you'll need:

- Proven experience in an internal communications role within government.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a proactive approach to collaboration.
- Expertise in SharePoint for intranet management.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to drive effective messaging.
