1300apprentice has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to commence a **Cert III in Horticulture** with an industry-leading partner in **Avalon.**

Our partner employer designs and builds that provide clients with all-year-round enjoyment tailored to their lifestyle. From the creation and construction to ongoing care and maintenance. Their highly skilled team ensures that gardens become a focal point of the property. You will learn your craft from a skilled, supportive team and gain a **Certificate III in Horticulture.**

**Some of what you will learn**:

- Garden and landscape design.
- How to effectively lay Paving
- Building retaining walls.
- Plant and soil improvements for garden and turf areas
- Drainage planning and installation
- Plant and soil practices, including implementing plant establishment programs
- Project costing further into the apprenticeship.

**To be successful, you must**:

- Committed to completing a 2 year traineeship
- Have a passion for this trade and want to be part of a growing business once you’ve completed your traineeship.
- Physically fit and not afraid of physically demanding work
- Be well presented
- Great work ethic
- White card or willing to obtain one before employment.
- Driving licence and own transport
- Willing to undertake a National Police Check
- Dedicated and wanting to learn
- Follows direction well.
