**Casual Disability Support Workers - Northern Beaches**

**Role Overview**
As a Support Worker, you'll assist clients in achieving independence, community involvement, and personal growth. This casual position offers various shifts, including early mornings (6 AM starts), afternoons, weekends, and overnight stays. Good availability and flexibility across these times are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Living Support: Assist clients with activities such as menu planning, cooking, cleaning, and personal care, including medication assistance.
Community Engagement: Support clients in leading active lifestyles by facilitating their participation in person-centred programs and community activities.
Behavioural Support: Implement positive behaviour strategies in line with individual behaviour support plans.
Family Communication: Maintain regular communication with families regarding client progress.

**About You**
Passionate: Dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Available: Able to work over a variety of shifts, with flexibility for early mornings.
Experienced: Background in Disability Support; a Certificate III in Community Services is advantageous.
Reliable Team Player: Dependable, resilient, and collaborative.
Competent in Personal Care: Comfortable assisting with personal hygiene and medication.

**Requirements**:
Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 or above)
Full COVID-19 vaccination
NDIS Worker Screening
National Police Check
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid certification.
