EDU has a Shared Services team, which includes the Group’s Sales and Marketing, Finance and Human Resources functions. The Shared Services team work with and service both ALG and Ikon.

**About the role**

EDU is recruiting for Sydney-based Team Leader, Future Students who is responsible for defining and implementing the businesses domestic higher education sales strategies, ensuring future student enrolment intake targets are achieved.

You will be instrumental in redefining the stages of the student recruitment funnel, ensuring future students receive a positive experience across all touchpoints.

The role spans working as part of and leading the team in responding to and nurturing lead enquiries, through to working with the Marketing Director on reporting and analysis, systems, and process refinement.

Coming from a sales contact centre or similar environment, you will have experience in supervising, mentoring, and training a small team of sales representatives.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**_ Domestic Student Recruitment _**
- Defining and implementing the domestic higher education sales strategy
- Working as part of the team in responding to and nurturing lead enquiries
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Admissions teams to define the key stages of the student recruitment funnel
- Champion continuous improvement strategies and drive the ongoing development of a student-centric service culture that focuses on excellence
- Forecast future student growth rates and intake targets
- Ownership of achieving the domestic higher education intake targets

**_ Team Management_**
- Lead, mentor, coach and train the domestic higher education sales team
- Develop individual and team-based goals that align with intake targets
- Define and implement incentive plans
- Manage key People and Culture processes for team members
- Manage rewards and recognition for sales team
- Lead by example in driving Ikon’s purpose, beliefs and culture

**_ Analytics and Reporting_**
- Develop dashboards that monitor activity and outcome (eg. Conversions) throughout the student recruitment funnel
- Provide data and insights to the Course Advisors to help improve the team’s sales conversion performance
- Provide the management team with regular reporting as required, including performance analysis for each domestic intake

**_ Systems_**
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to design, implement and monitor the systems and tools required to drive performance of the Sales team and to provide ongoing transparency and insightful reporting

**Qualifications and experience**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a sales contact centre is preferred but not required.
- Experience in the education sector preferred but not essential
- Experience developing, leading, and coaching a high performing sales team
- Experience developing reports and communication key insights
