**About the Company**
Join an established construction and renovation business with national presence and a large portfolio of work ranging from $50k - $10m per project. This busy and fast paced environment will allow you to work across a diverse risk portfolio including, working at heights, mobile plant, confined spaces, hazardous materials such as asbestos, demolition, traffic management, electrical works etc.

**About the Role**
We are looking for an innovative and ambitious Health and Safety Coordinator who wants to create change and drive impact through the wider business and has an appetite to work as part of a national team to build a new national safety management system.

This role will see you acting as the go to contact at a site level, for a diverse range of projects, across a large volume of locations in Sydney metro and Central Coast. Working as part of a growing national safety team, you will contribute to the portfolio of jobs and work with the Site Managers and Supervisors to ensure correct health and safety measures are applied and best practice is achieved. You will play a vital role in supporting, advising and educating all staff, contractors and key stakeholders. You will build strong relationships across the business to continue influencing a robust safety culture.

Your day to day role will involve:

- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of project WH&S documentation
- Identifying improvements to the State Manager
- Facilitate return to work plans including incident investigation and reporting
- Prepare WH&S Corporate reports for Senior Management / Executive Team
- Develop and implement internal training packages, coordinate external training
- Actively consult with relevant Line Managers and staff on WH&S matters
- Where required, participate and chair WH&S committee meetings
- Facilitate new staff WH&S Inductions
- Monitor and update WH&S Noticeboard content
- Actively send WH&S Alerts to staff
- Participate in all external WH&S Audits
- Assist and develop SWMS

**About You**
You will be a passionate health and safety professional with a relevant qualification in WHS, looking for your next challenging role to support your professional development. In playing an integral role in the continued development of a positive safety culture, you will be a strong relationship builder and drive improvement of processes across the NSW business. Other traits that we are searching for include:

- Previous experience in injury management / RTW
- First Aid or CPR training would be highly regarded
- Work at Heights training is preferable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

**What’s on Offer?**
As the Health and Safety Coordinator, you will support multiple sites in Sydney Metro and the Central Coast region. Regular travel to site will be an essential part of the job. To facilitate this, you will be provided either a fully maintained vehicle or a $16,000 car allowance depending on your preference.
