**The opportunity**

We’re seeking an experienced Warehouse Officer to effectively coordinate the day-to-day activities in our small but critical operations centre in Tingalpa, including inbound, storage, inventory accuracy and outbound operations. This role will also support the Device Technologies Warehouse Service Desk by assisting in the allocation and response to internal warehouse queries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Unloading and loading vehicles
- Checking on inbound deliveries against consignment notes to confirm number of items received
- Confirmation of batch number, serial number and expiry date details during product handling
- Preparation of received products for put away and safe and secure storage
- Pick, check and pack of outbound warehouse orders or on behalf of other business units located on site
- Accurately Consign outbound deliveries using designated freight management systems
- Declaring dangerous goods for transport
- Managing cross dock products through the warehouse cycle
- Liaise with business units and stakeholders where required for product updates and notification of arrivals
- Use business systems to log and manage receiving issues and quarantined product
- Maintaining warehouse housekeeping standards
- Data entry into Warehouse Management Systems
- Maintain logs and registers as required
- Notify business units or team members of incoming repairs or goods for collection
- Supporting Warehouse Service Desk Activities
- Other duties as assigned by manager

**Experience required**:

- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is essential
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Able to work autonomously and effectively prioritise tasks
- Intermediate PC skills, with experience using warehouse or ERP systems highly regarded
