The Warehouse Operation Officer plays a key role in managing the daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of goods. This includes overseeing inbound and outbound activities, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting the coordination between departments to ensure seamless warehouse functions

Primary Roles And Responsibility

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Perform regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with system data.
  • Monitor stock levels and promptly report any shortages or excesses.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for quantity and quality; update records accordingly.
  • Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are accurately documented.
  • Oversee and support warehouse staff and labourers in their daily activities.
  • Prepare and verify outgoing shipments for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations related to storage and handling.
  • Keep detailed records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, dispatches, and returns.
  • Generate and submit operational reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Report any damages, discrepancies, or incidents to the warehouse manager in a timely manner.

To Be Successful You Will Need To Demonstrate

  • Experience in Warehousing and inventory management essential
  • Strong computer literacy with experience in Microsoft suite
  • Be a positive, solutions focused customer service officer
  • High levels of attention to detail and a passion for streamlining and enhancing efficiency's
  • Forklift Licence (Preferred, but not mandatory)
