Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is seeking a motivated self-starter with proven track records of achievement in sales and/or business development to join the Leasing and Acquisitions Team.

The primary function of the Leasing and Acquisitions Team is to manage the delivery of the Approved Provisioning Schedule via new leases, lease extensions and retail acquisitions.
Further functions include managing landlord enquiries and providing expertise on the lease agreement to regional stakeholders.

These roles will be responsible for a range of activities including working as part of a team managing a portfolio of leased properties, identifying and converting new business leads and prospecting for new potential properties to add to DHA’s portfolio via direct negotiation with stakeholders and integration across industry.

**Skills required to successfully work at the DHA5 level in the Leasing & Acquisitions team**:

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Sound professional judgement, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively and autonomously, managing conflicting priorities and workloads within deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset working cohesively with a team to achieve common objectives.
