Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

The Supreme Court of Victoria is the highest court in Victoria and comprises the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division. The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts.

Funds in Court (FIC) is an Office of the Supreme Court of Victoria. FIC administers funds held in Court, and assets purchased from them, for people with a disability.
People who have their funds held in Court are known as clients. FIC supports the Senior Master in managing funds and providing assistance for more than 7,000 clients. The Senior Master is an Associate Judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
The Office acts in a manner that is consistent with the law and in the best interests of beneficiaries of the Court.
**About the Role**
The Legal Administration Support Officer is part of the FIC Legal Services team and reports to the Legal Services Manager. The role provides administrative support to Solicitor to the Senior Master and legal officers, as well as assisting the Legal Administration Team with payment in and payment out at 18 processes as needed.
Key accountabilities include:
- Assisting legal officers with tasks including:
- Drafting correspondence to legal practitioners, clients and litigation guardians in accordance with directions from legal officers
- Assisting legal officers responsible for to payment in and out of funds into Common Fund No. 1 and Common Fund No. 2 processes, including:
- Corresponding with legal practitioners and clients regarding payments into and out of Court
- Providing legal practitioners with EFT/BPay information to facilitate payments into Court
- Scanning of court orders and other documents to the Senior Master's Trust Management System (TMS).
- Assisting with correspondence to legal practitioners and the preparation of simple memoranda regarding potential delays of payment into Court, in accordance with the directions of a legal officer.
**About You**
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Disability Services would be highly regarded
- Sound understanding of administrative functions and office practices
- Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or substantial administration experience would be highly regarded.
