We are seeking motivated and proactive Environmental Consultants to join our growing team in delivering a wide variety of environmental impact assessment, approvals, environmental management and sustainability projects in Western Australia and across Australia. This role will work across a number of sectors with a strong focus on new energy, carbon capture and storage, water, transport and Defence. As a stepping stone to future leadership opportunities, these roles would suit ambitious professionals keen to make a positive impact on the world. You will work directly with your clients to provide high quality advice and solutions, and you will receive coaching and mentoring from industry leaders in a work environment that values diversity, flexibility and professional development. These roles are based in our brand new Perth office where you will work alongside 20+ environmental professionals with experience ranging for recent graduates to over 20 years in the industry. The Perth team is part of a national planning and environmental approvals practice enabling you to work on projects across Australia with our 250+ strong environmental solutions business. We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement to promote work-life balance and the role can be full time or part time to suit your needs. **The role**: You will work alongside highly experienced professionals that will support you to grow and develop professionally. You will: - Undertake environmental impact assessments across a range of industry types and project sizes - Prepare high quality environmental approvals documentation and environmental management plans. - Work with clients to understand their requirements and deliver innovative solutions and advice. - Manage small to medium size projects across a range industries and clients. - Be provided with support, guidance, and mentorship from senior staff. - Have access to career development framework to guide your career growth. - Grow by taking an active role in coaching and training less experienced team members. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: LI-DM - Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, engineering, planning or a related discipline - Around 3-10 years industry experience. We have multiple opportunities and encourage all qualified people to express interest. - Demonstrated experience in environmental impact assessments and Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental legislation. - Strong capability in written and verbal communication and engagement with a variety of stakeholders. - Multi-tasking and a proficiency in time-management on day-to-day tasks is essential. - A good understanding of HSEC requirements and industry approaches and hold a valid driver’s licence. **Jacobs.
