Austin Health is one of Victoria’s largest providers of tertiary health services, health professional education and research. Austin Health includes the Austin Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre and the ONJ Centre. The Foundation manages philanthropic and volunteer development and is responsible for supporting, promoting, recognising and growing giving to Austin Health.

The Annual Giving Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of Austin Health Foundation’s annual giving program. The role will broaden and increase the diversity of donors while adopting best practices to expand reach and impact. This position must have strong organisational, communication, problem solving and analytical skills. It is essential to be able to interact with donors at various levels in a dynamic and growing team environment.

Reporting to the Head of Donor Relations, the Annual Giving Manager will manage all aspects of the annual giving, regular giving and tribute programs using best practice methods. You will be creative and proactive in your approaches to attract and acquire new donors, enhance the diversity of donors, and broaden the geographic range of givers. This role will report on and analyse each initiative and be able to update future plans based on your learnings. You will help to improve communications and campaigns through digital channels to increase online donations. This role will support the management of stewardship and donor recognition programs. The Annual Giving Manager will also build relationships and work closely with internal and external stakeholders across Austin Health and the Olivia Newton-John Centre.

- Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to manage relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders,
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and creatively, - Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise competing deadlines,
- Possess excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills, - Strong understanding of IT, including the Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems,
- You are goal and action-oriented, possess a high degree of initiative and have a growth focused, curious mindset,
- Experience and/or an understanding of the not-for-profit and philanthropy sector, - Strong alignment with Austin Health’s values.
