**About the role**:
Reporting into a Service Delivery Leader the Vulnerability Remediation Lead will oversee the reduction of security breaches through coordination of vulnerability patching and assist with release and change activities.

Responsibilities include:

- Maintain Service Excellence operating rhythm with Security team to receive vulnerability scan reports, receive penetration testing reports, assess remediation criticality and identify remediation needs including patching, upgrades, process changes, etc.
- Group vulnerability fixes into patch changes and releases
- Work with Service Owners and Vendors to coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities
- Supervise and develop junior team members
- Identify and implement process improvements for vulnerability assessment and patching
- Run regular patch deployment schedules with multiple vendors or various platforms

**What we’re looking for**:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience coordinating patching, security and vulnerability remediation within a large complex organisation. You will be a critical thinker and can review reports to determine where the priority focus needs to be.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or related field
- Experience with continuous improvement and risk mitigation in Vulnerability Remediation
- Infrastructure management or coordination experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create reports, explain progress and escalate issues

We are open to professionals who have some technical understanding and are looking to further develop their technical ability in the ICT Industry.
